The esteemed members of the Tiger Golf Club (TGC) and Shoo-Koo-Kai, Dhaka (The Japanese Commerce & Industry Association in Dhaka) met for the 4th Annual Golf Tournament on Saturday, April 19th, 2025 at the Kurmitola Golf Club (KGC) Dhaka.
The event was a vibrant celebration of camaraderie, cultural exchange, and spirited competition, graced by prominent members of both organizations.
Adding to the prestige of the tournament was the presence of renowned international golf trainer Edmond Fokker, along with ambassadors and diplomats from various countries.
The tournament concluded with an engaging Prize Giving Ceremony and Brunch, leaving participants with cherished memories and a deeper sense of community and connection. Brig Gen (Retd) Md Manzur Qader, vice-president of TGC, served as the moderator of the event.
The winners of the Friendship Tournament were as follows: Hafizur Rahman Khan – Champion (Front 9); Nasim Majumder – Champion (Back 9); Mr Hiroaki Oura – Longest Drive and Ms Megumi Imagaw – Nearest to the Pin.
In the program, there were a number of raffle draws sponsored by the Japanese golfers and the TGC. Most of the guests won the raffle, which made the whole program more memorable & enjoyable.
